Beam Reach is a self-catering, delightfully refurbished 4-bedroomed Victorian town house in the heart of Cowes ideally suitable for up to 10 – 12 sailors, racing crew and families.

Cowes Yacht Haven, Yacht Clubs, pubs, restaurants and shops are all within a very short level walk.

The accommodation:

This self-catering accommodation is suitable for up to 10 – 12 people and is arranged on four floors. There is no lift and it is not suitable for the disabled. You enter at street level into a lobby with stairs up to first floor landing where there are two twin bedrooms with a separate toilet. The smaller bedroom has a bunk bed suitable for two adults.

To the rear there are stairs leading back down to ground floor level, where you will find a large bathroom which includes a shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is also a separate shower room adjacent. A rear door leads out to a small courtyard and from there you can access the utility room where you can find the central heating boiler and washing machine. There is also a tumble drier in this room.

You will find on the second floor Bedroom No 2 with two single beds and large built in wardrobe and wash basin, then to the front a modern fitted kitchen which is well equipped. There is a microwave, electric cooker, fridge and dishwasher. The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished including a hi-fi and TV. There is a dining table to comfortably seat 6 people. There is another table available and extra chairs if required. There are wonderful views across Cowes Harbour from this room.

Stairs lead up to the third floor “room-in-the roof” with panoramic sea views across the Solent and beyond. There are four single beds plus a Futon and a put-you-up making the final 12th bed.

Bedrooms 1,2 & 3 have H/C wash basins.

Please note you are not allowed to smoke within this property. Pets are not allowed.

All bed linen and towels can be provided if required.

Beam Reach is normally let for 8 days during Cowes Week, one week for Commodores Cup and 4 days for Little Britain Challenge. At other times it is normally let on a 7 day basis, however, we will be pleased to discuss any other alternative periods you have in mind.

Beam Reach is normally booked very early for the main sailing events and you are advised to contact us as soon as you can to check availability and costs. We will then send you this information along with more details and booking contract.
